A Profound Thought

Profound Thought for 10/8/08

When we don't understand something, we ask those around us to break it down. Similarly, when a lot of stress is placed on us for reasons we don't understand, we break down. In both cases, breaking down can be helpful. As far as understanding something, we all know that making it simpler is very helpful. But I'm sure that the majority of you readers have never thought of breaking down as a person could be helpful. IT CAN BE. Do not be afraid to break down. It is simply your body's way of cleansing itself of all of the negative effects of stress. If you get it all out, you'll feel better. Trying to "keep trucking" is not always a good thing; it can mask your stress and allow it to eat at you. That's what drives people crazy and affects their emotional stability. When you feel you're at your breaking point, just find a little time to 'break.' Cry, scream, hit a wall(preferably not hard enough to break your hand), or whatever it is you do. Once you're done, assess things. Maybe you'll realize that you're stressing over nothing, or that you can handle it if you focus, or something else. Breaking down is just that; you are breaking down all of the stress in your body so that you may see clearly. So Bianca, since this note is for you, I'm asking you to set aside a little time and break down. Let it all out. And after you get done, assess everything you were stressed about, and see if it doesn't feel better and make more sense. It may even feel less stressful. Most importantly YOU are supposed to feel better. To all of you readers, just try this. If it doesn't work, I apologize. If it does, keep doing it. Thanks for your time. Much love everyone.
