A Poem: The Space - 5/14/10

There is a space in this world.
It is relatively small, yet infinitely large.
There's no exact temperature, but it is infinitely warm.
No malice stems from this place, and it repels all harm.
A bastion from the world, it is known to keep people sane
And can even wrest a smile from expressed pain.
A soothing destination, it specializes in allaying fears,
Being a second set of ears,
And drying tears.
After a long day, this place can recharge one's batteries,
Shower someone with silent flattery,
Or save their confidence from further tattering.
The weather in this space is always pleasant,
With a 100% chance of sunshine.
Even when there's rain or an emotional hurricane,
You will, in the end, see the sun shine.
The space only accommodates one, but that's all that's needed;
It's so splendid that no one would want to leave it.
Much like a custom-built home, it's perfect for someone particular
And should that someone fall, the space is reticular.
Yes, it's built to catch and made to receive,
But this space is in a place you wouldn't believe:
It's fits you perfectly, and is one-of-a-kind
The only space in this world just for you is right in these arms of mine.
