"If you wanted gold, but did not believe you could find it, would you still search for it? Highly unlikely. Instead, you would take whatever glittered, as you felt it was as close to gold as you could get, or you would just avoid glitter altogether until your desire for it could not be kept down. Replace gold with a good man/woman, and you'll see one of the great dating issues: if you don't believe, it won't happen."
