A Freestyle Piece: Should You Decide to Make Love to My Mind - 10/31/11

"Fondle my thoughts for a moment...play with my postulations, arouse my ambitions. Find out what truly makes me squirm. Make me forget that you're around, getting me lost in the power you've found; with my bottle of emotions unfastened, make me pine for you when you're absent. Accent your curves and verve with words that serve your elegance on a platter of eloquence. Innocence gives this a certain sheen...even dirty thoughts are clean when there's no mud involved, no intent to stain or to find an advantage to gain. I trust your lust...such an honest desire to fuel my fire. Refusing to stroke my ego in order to caress my commitment, to massage my manhood. Should you decide to make love to mind, my spirit will respond. My soul will rise to meet you...the real me, the truest me will reveal itself to greet you..."

Late Night Rambling, Vol. 3 - 10/31/11

"I'm not trying to leave a legacy...I just want the world to be better than how it was left for me. I don't know how the world will change in my lifetime. Maybe petroleum will no longer be a lifeline, there will cease to be a black/white line, and the minority won't be people of the 'nice' kind. Or maybe the world shall be swathed in a frost, the remnants of a nuclear holocaust. It matters not. All I can do is give love to all, seeking to dilute our separatist ways; accepting those I can't, while understanding those I'm able to faze. As of now, the world is conducive to evil. Most with power got it by lying to, deceiving, and using people. I'm not a fan of that power structure, and seek to rupture it by giving power to honesty and love. I will respect those that respect others, treating all women and men as sisters and brothers. In holding myself to a high level of personal conduct and behavior, I hope to inspire everyone's inner savior; no single person made the world this way, so if we all seek change, the current conditions won't stay."

A Freestyle Piece: That One Girl at the Club - 10/31/11

"She's a ball hog; taking shot after shot. When she arrived at the club and all the guys showed her love, morals became an afterthought. Every smile she sent brought a drink in return, fooling men who couldn't discern between interest and charm. She was trading gyrations for libations; men were trying to speed down her curves, shelling out bills like they were paying citations. The men wanted to smash and date her, not knowing she was a pro skater: down to grind on anything that would show her a good time. Good food, good wine, and better weed were supposed to be all she would need...but she had been wounded a long time ago, and continues to bleed. All of her nights are the same, using the same formula to numb the pain..."

Late Night Rambling, Vol. 2 - 10/13/11

"I'm aware of the fact that "let's chill" and "let's hang out" have been reduced to basic euphemisms for "let's meet up so you can fulfill my sexual needs," but I still wonder why young ladies don't want to simply chill anymore. I know they've lost faith in us young men, but I swear that there are some of us that would love to be invited over just to converse and watch TV and/or a movie. Heck, I'd even bring some food. Why can't we relax? I'm all for getting spiffy (believe me, I am. lol) and going out, but vibing is so much better. Getting to know someone is usually fun when all of the defenses come down...but I'm sure that's where the problem lies, young ladies not wanting to be vulnerable since so many of my peers have become as ruthless as the bankers that have steered Europe into financial hell just to make a profit. Some of us are still gentlemen though."

A Freestyle Piece: Literary Temptation - 10/13/11

"It's like her body is written in cursive, her elegant curvation cursing at me in the language of love, talking dirty with each sultry move. Lust is a list of simple commands, designed by the mind to meet physio-emotional demands, and it's as if her body is transcribing my desire, swirling letters in the burning fire that is my passion. The symmetry of her breasts are like rhymes; there is irony between the width of her waist and size of her behind. Her skin glows with the bristling shine of an anticipatory nervous system, a breathtaking metaphor to behold--she is poetry in motion, a silent commotion heard only by the eyes. As with all prose, she is a matter of complex simplicity; simply wanting to pleased, but wanting it done in the ways that her body suggests implicitly...so as I admire the penmanship of her sexuality, all the details of her body, I listen and read intently. Her literature tempts me..."

A Freestyle Piece: Supernova - 10/13/11

"She was a supernova...burning brightly until she burned herself out; known to blame men, although she turned herself out. Never content with possessions, she wanted different things. An angel unappreciative of her talents, she wanted different wings. Beauty was her blessing, but it became a curse; neglecting her mind, she depended on her looks first. As time elapsed, perhaps the mishaps should have nudged her in the right direction. But, when you're rationalizing right to avoid the truth of being wrong, you won't want correction. And so goes the story of the glory of the night: shrouded by darkness, so lauded for being bright. No one ever inquires about how these fires burn...but there's a clear difference between one that spreads and one that yearns. The former uses what it takes; the latter takes what it uses. The supernova was an artist, with makeup as paint and her flaws as muses..."

Late Night Rambling, Vol. 1 - 10/13/11

"I adore women, and frankly believe that many of them exist to amaze. One of the best parts of being a man is being able to complement that. Their strength requires our sensitivity, their fortitude needs our open arms, their focus is best when coupled with our understanding, their multitasking is made easier by our doting, their thick skin can be taken care of by our attention. The list goes on and on. The number one complement would have to be supporting their affinity to give love by having them receive ours. Beyond protection, we are their rock. That's why honesty, dependability, accountability, and responsibility are some of the greatest intangible assets a young man can have."

A Freestyle Piece Dedicated to all the College Girls

"She lives in a society dominated by men, yet she's the ruler of her own mind. Never on her own time, she's always on the same schedule; school, work, study, repeat. Each grade makes good on tuition until she can get her degree, the ultimate receipt. Focused could be her middle name; determined is her title. Her most vital asset is her mind, intelligence one-of-a-kind with personality that always seems to shine. Of course, brothers attempt to dim her, but she takes it with a glimmer of hope; choosing grow and let her scars show, rather than orate from a box of soap. She's confident that things will one day change, and but in the meantime refuses to accept more of the same. No longer a player nor a fan of games, she's ready for partnership; mutual management. Wanting something real, she's a college girl with a solid foundation for future romantic establishment..."

A Freestyle Piece: The Wondering of Dating - 10/13/11

"The beginning. The initial helplessness of falling. The late night calling, lack of stalling, walking before we're crawling. It's as though the exposition of this play has been expedited. I sped past every checkpoint in your heart, just as you did mine. Let's slow down time...post a five minute speed limit on your curves and I'll abide by the law. I won't be so quick to tell you you're perfect once I find a flaw, and when you find one of mine, you'll suffer from shock and awe. Should we get it while it's hot rather than risk it being warm? Will waiting do any real harm? Sex would end the journey at lust; finding love begins at trust. The real you, the real me, they lie beyond the horizon. Do we take what we have now, or test our timing?"

A Brief Philosophy: Burning Bridges - 10/13/11

"It is both amazing and ironic that in doing all we can to avoid taking ownership of a mistake or issue of ours, we leave ourselves with no other choice. When we attempt to pass it off on others, they will either disappear, leaving no one to blame, or throw it back at us. When we ignore it, it either becomes to large to deflect or morphs into another issue that we must deal with. Most interestingly, when we burn bridges, we create an island that alienates us from those who request we take responsibility; it is an island surrounded on all sides by the same issue that brought it about."

A Freestyle Piece: Fireflies - 10/13/11

"It's not impossible, just improbable. And against all odds, I'll make you believe it was meant to be, that you were meant for me. The world is experiencing a period of darkness...graft is rampant, ignorance is blissfully present, and the only prophets are the traders predicting the future to make profits. However, every ray of sunshine is an opportunity. We photosynthesize light as hope, and our fires burn brightly enough to give people solace. They see our passion and realize there is still love; they see our compassion and realize there is still humanity; they see us and KNOW that light being forged in darkness isn't a passing fantasy. Two fireflies in the night..."

A Freestyle Piece: Intercourse - 10/13/11

"Let me touch the bottom of your conscious...stretch the walls of your understanding. Your creative juices need stimulation, and mental penetration holds the key. Unlocking your spirit is a priority. Progress is made when you take more of me. It's not that my intelligence stretches farther than another man's, or that my heart has more breadth; it's about appreciating what spots they hit while cherishing the ones you have left. Gaping holes in your trust were left by men that raped your mind in lust...but this love making will take you past them, shifting your paradigm with a philosophical orgasm..."

A Freestyle Piece: The Winter Flow - 10/13/11

"Winter clothes, winter clothes...time to spit those winter flows, those 'let me take you out to dinner' flows. It's known as 'cuffing season,' better known as 'bluffing season,' where since it's cold, countless lies are told to have someone to hold, so it's more like 'convenient loving' season. How about 'this will amount to nothing' season? The reasons for togetherness only weather this period of frigidity; rigidity gives way when new blooms offer new room for options..."

A Freestyle Piece: Just Another One About the Women I've Chased - 10/13/11

"If it was all simple, would it be worth it to you? If it was all mental, would it be worthless to you? The complications you're used to were expectations unmet; only your body matters if he's after sex. Those assholes you dated? They never planned to change. You swear each one's different, but you're still the same. Don't play the victim, the scars are yours to bear. Don't deny your pain, yet try to share. Learn from the past, learn what you're worth. Learn that love is done to self first..."

A Freestyle Piece: Women and Questions - 10/13/11

"Nature versus nurture? Only nature could nurture such a being. God versus evolution? Each has a beauty that is hand-crafted before they get here, while their spirits evolve as their bodies do. Democrat or Republican? Be Democratic with money, accommodate her at near any cost; be Republican with her heart, defend it at any cost. Paper or Plastic? Surprise her with paper bags of merchandise and plastic bags of her favorite food. An exceptional woman settles life's toughest questions."

A Freestyle Piece: To Bridge the Distance - 10/13/11

"Don't know anyone getting married, but my calendar's full of engagements. The road of success is arduous, it often feels like I'm chasing pavements. But, I keep my eyes on the destination--scenes slide by as I near the point of power; presentation. I won't stop there, I don't need reverence. My eloquence is irrelevant; focus on my message, it's heavensent. My inspiration comes from existence; writing at life's insistence. The heart and mind often stand apart; I write to bridge the distance..."
