Just Catching Up...

"Despite what books may tell you about puberty, we grow from the moment we arrive on Earth, until the moment we depart. Every experience is a lesson; however, it's up to you to choose to grow from them, or to simply learn from them. To learn from a mistake is to acknowledge what went wrong, not to grow forth and fix it. And so I say, you can be the stagnant shrub, or you can be the far-reaching fern."

"Love takes vision. You have to see who someone was, who someone is, and who someone wants to be; if you can accept the past, appreciate the present, and assist towards the future, you can love someone...because at that point, you put the past out of your mind, invest your heart in the now, and put your hope, trust, and efforts in to making sure that person isn't a wannabe of who they want to be in the future."
