"Think outside the box." Anyone know what the "box" is? Ah, that's where it gets interesting. The box is formed by double standards, stereotypical practices, religious condemnations, social norms, and social mores. Those things all form an invisible set of parameters. Most Americans operate within them and adhere to them so strongly that they will attack anyone who doesn't; the media tells them how far to think.
